About

When planets Collide was created by me (Gareth Kelly) as a way of getting together like minded bands that are fans and influenced by the Sludgier, Stonier and Doomier things in life…. this has so far been very successful and with the help of the Windmill in Brixton I have not only managed to get some cracking bands together, but most importantly managed to run nights that mean that the bands are not expected to get people through the door to make the promoter happy but to have a great night and go home with a bit of money in their pockets. London is full of Pay to play venues and together we shall destroy them!!!

Now its all about mentioning and promoting new bands in the genre and any one who wants to get material reviewed or mentioned, please get in contact and send us your stuff. CDs/Promos should be sent to:

  1. Hey man, how goes it? Fired up from your tour I guess?!
Thought I’d give you a shout as your Planets Collide thing looks exactly up our street or back alley or whatever. We’re a five-piece from Kent called Allfather, we’ve been going for about 18 months and have had a handful of gigs, with a few more in the pipeline. We’ve just finished making our first EP, it’s the link to the BandCamp page I posted, it’s here again too: http://allfather1.bandcamp.com

Would be cool if you could check out our stuff, it’s exaclty the kind of thing you’re into (I hope). Would be even cooler if you considered us for any future events you have planned. We played a show in Hackney last night (with Black Swarm, one of them said they knew you guys too?) anyway, it was fucking shit. We wanna play shows with likeminded people, get some heads nodding, enjoy some flat beer and make a fucking noise. We have about a 40/45 minute set ranging from 1 minute rippers to 15 minute sludgeterpieces.

Anyway, I’ve babbled on for far too long. Would be stoked to be a part of the scene.
    Hopefully I’ll hear from you.
    Cheers, Al
