With the largest amount of people having bought advance tickets to this years SUMMER SIZZLER is looking to be the best yet and here’s 5 reasons why we think its gonna kick serious buttocks:
1 – GURT are playing their debut album in its entirety… Which means hearing songs never before played live, lots of dinosaurs, and an extra long set of surprises in store too!
2 – ASTROHENGE are opening the proceedings with a special Arc Tan Gent warm up show, which means that we need you folks to get down early as they start at 7pm but I have been informed lots of new songs are coming!
3 – LOADS of WPC first timers are playing! PIST, DYSTERIA, SIEGE MENTALITY, TEEF and ELEPHANT TREE are all performing for the first time and with such a diverse line up of different styles these are guaranteed to become someones new favorite band!
4 – THERE ARE 2 DAYS OF FUN!!! This is a first for the Summer Sizzler and with the first day being tomorrow it means that you have all of Sunday to nurse those hangovers and get to back full strength..
5 – IRON WITCH ARE BACK!!!! And everyone who has been to a WPC event knows what happens when these fellas play……. CARNAGE!!!!
So make sure you get down early folks as it all kicks off at 6:30pm tomorrow and with the prized BBQ on Saturday and the weather looking good it is sure to be a damn fun weekend… £7 on the door for each day if you don’t have your tickets already
